Focus on filtration for new Farming applications. UFI Filters presents the new brochure

Developed to endure even the most demanding work conditions, UFI Filters filtering systems play an essential role, when it comes to farming machinery. Using quality products is very important, to help the engine reach their top performance levels. This is why, to provide a filtering system that does not only protect, but also improve the performance of agricultural engines, UFI Filters developed an entire range of spare parts of equal quality to the originals. The UFI Group can count on a solid presence in the Original Equipment market, since it is selected by brands that account for 50% of the global heavy and industrial vehicle production.

Expanded during 2022, UFI’s Aftermarket farming machinery filter range includes over 1,000 items; An all-round filtering range, starting from fuel, oil, air, blow-by and hydraulic filters, and reaching systems that improve the air quality in the work vehicle cab.

You can read about UFI Filters’ know-how in this sector in the dedicated brochure, in the Aftermarket website’s MARKETING SUPPORT section. This brochure is a useful tool for Aftermarket dealers, and it includes all farming filtering solutions that meet the strictest regulations and stringent requirements set by Original Equipment manufacturers. If features all the product families available in detail, which have been developed based on the principles UFI focuses on: preventing damage to sensitive components, while improving vehicle performance and reliability, and preventing costly downtime, while extending service intervention schedules.

In the brochure, you can see the materials the filters are made of, that is, the ‘recipes’ by FormulaUFI, our media brand that embodies all of UFI’s filtering experience, the nominal root on which the names of the filter media developed in UFI Innovation Centers worldwide are based.

Diesel filtration in agricultural vehicles is ensured by a double filtration system, which includes the pre-filter with water separation function and the filter, which is designed to carry out fine filtration. The FormulaUFI.H2O filtering media fully satisfy the diesel filtration requirements that are typical of agricultural vehicles, offering the option to choose from filtering media that guarantee high levels of water separation, or media that can block up to 99.5% of particles at 4 microns, thanks to the cellulose fibre base combined with synthetic or even glass fibres.

For oil filtration in agricultural machinery, UFI Filters uses FormulaUFI.STRATIFLEX for the most demanding applications; this is the most revolutionary solution developed by the company, which features a layered combination of different materials such as cellulose, glass fibres and hydrophobic fabrics, to ensure unrivalled filtration efficiency and a longer useful life of the filter.

Also, for air filtration, we largely use the FormulaUFI.STRATIFLEX, to capture dirt, dust and soot, before they reach the engine. The same Formula is used also for passenger compartment filters, to protect the driver against the most aggressive pollutants that can be generated in the workplace (dust, soot, combustion gases, bacteria and pollens).

For blow-by filters, which are also used on agricultural vehicles and are designed to filter and recover the oil vapours generated by the engine in the combustion chamber, UFI Filters uses FormulaUFI.Micron. This filtering media consists of glass fibres combined with other synthetic fibres, which offers filtration capacity for even the smallest of particles. Thanks to the oil-repellent material of Formula UFI.Micron, the filter is resistant to the acidic environments typical of blow-by gases. It is important to remember that blow-by filters play a fundamental role, recovering gases rather than releasing contaminants such as CO, NOx and PM into the atmosphere.

For farming applications, UFI Filters includes in the Aftermarket catalogue also a range of hydraulic oil filters that capture all the particles generated by equipment wear or coming from the environment, which could damage the hydraulic system’s costly components, such as pump, control valves, cylinders and hydraulic motor.
