UFI Filters and Cohete Suarez: four years of excellence and passion in Spanish Rallying

UFI Filters renews its partnership with the Recalvi team and its talented driver, José Antonio Suárez, aka Cohete, for the new season of the Supercampeonato de España de Rallyes (S-CER) 2024. The partnership between UFI Filters and Cohete Suárez is more than a collaboration. It is a four-year history characterised by victories and growth; it represents a bond marked by excellence, passion and the achievement of ever-higher goals.

The weekend of 8^th-9^th March officially kicked off the 2024 edition of the Supercampeonato de España de Rallyes (S-CER), the mixed rally championship that takes place throughout Spain on different road surfaces, both asphalt and dirt. During this first round, Recalvi’s duo of Cohete Suárez and his co-driver Alberto Iglesias took first place. To reconfirm their title as champions, after victories in 2017, 2021 and 2023, the Recalvi team once again relied on Škoda this year and chose the Škoda Fabia RS Rally2. The new car made its official debut during the 41st Sierra Morena Córdoba Rally on the weekend of 5th and 6^th April, leading the team to a third place on the podium.

The nine tracks of this new championship offer Cohete Suarez and Alberto Iglesias Pin an ideal stage on which to show off their skills: the diversity of the terrain highlights the versatility of the Recalvi team and Cohete Suárez’s ability to adapt his driving to all conditions.
