On 20 September, at the Savoia Regency hotel in Bologna, one of the most important events bringing together professionals from the road transport, logistics and heavy vehicle aftermarket sectors took place: One Day Truck&Logistics
For the second year in a row, UFI Filters participated as the Platinum Sponsor in the convention organised by FIAP (Federazione Italiana Autotrasportatori) and the magazines Parts Truck and Logistica&Trasporti, testifying to the ever-increasing attention paid to the world of filtration for heavy vehicles, which has been the focus of the UFI Group for years.
This year’s theme was ‘change’: the Heavy Duty and logistics industry landscape is in constant revolution between challenges and innovations towards a future of bio-fuels, electric engines, energy transitions.
Challenges that UFI Filters is ready to face thanks to increasingly cutting-edge technological innovations resulting from a constant investment in Research and Development, such as solutions for the thermal management of battery vehicles and for the forthcoming hydrogen fuel cell engines, for excellent performance with respect to reducing impacts on the atmosphere.
This 2023 edition included moments of in-depth discussion and networking among the protagonists of the sector, together with the opportunity to visit the commercial vehicle exhibition area.
The congress moments were a succession of reports and round tables: after the initial speech dedicated to the evolution of the heavy vehicle market, the floor was given to the participants of the first round table, focused on the theme ‘technology and transition’, in which Irene Carraro, Group Aftermarket Marketing Manager UFI Filters, took part, bringing the UFI Group’s vision on the theme of ‘filtration at the time of hydrogen’.
The topics also included the transformation taking place throughout the supply chain, with the trade associations taking the floor to examine the changes that are affecting the logistics sector. The day of work ended with a round table dedicated to sustainability, a topic that is very much felt in the world of heavy duty vehicles.
UFI Filters’ commitment is demonstrated in its important presence both in Original Equipment and in the aftermarket. Precisely in order to accompany heavy duty vehicles manufacturers in the transition towards the future of road transport, UFI Filters offers solutions designed to support the engines of today and tomorrow, boasting a constantly updated catalogue. And it is precisely with this in mind that UFI’s filtering solutions are chosen by manufacturers representing 50% of the world’s truck and industrial vehicle production and have equipped the last 3 winners of the “International Truck of the Year” award, trucks rewarded for their innovation and commitment to reducing polluting emissions.
