UFI Filters for young talent: appointment with recent graduates

For UFI Filters, the search for and growth of talents are part of one of the Group’s six core values: Diversity, which allows it to be truly “Global” and all-encompassing with reference to people and different cultures, as well as equal opportunities.

It is with this spirit and thanks to many years of collaboration with leading universities in Italy and around the world that the UFI Filters Group guarantees its presence at career days and other important events for young students and recent graduates. UFI Filters counts, in fact, many collaborations in Italy, including those with the Polytechnic of Milan, the Polytechnic of Turin, the universities of Trento, Padua and Verona, as well as the CUOA of Vicenza – and worldwide, such as with the JiaoTong University of Shanghai in China.

For the UFI Group, these are real connections that often turn into lasting cooperations, not just for recruiting purposes: just think of the agreement in 2019 with Shanghai’s JiaoTong University to set up a joint research centre aimed at studies in the field of thermodynamics and the thermal management of heat exchangers; or the acquisition in 2020 of 24.9% of BeonD, a start-up and spin-off of the Politecnico di Torino specialising in the design of thermal management solutions for power systems for electrified cars.

With the start of university courses in October, students at the Milan Polytechnic were able to meet representatives of the UFI Group’s Human Resources office during the highly anticipated “International Career Day” organised by the university. The event took place on 11 October at the Bovisa Campus and gave young students and graduates in Engineering, Architecture and Design the opportunity to introduce themselves and apply for open positions at UFI Filters in both Italy and abroad.

During the month of November, Italian students and graduates will be able to participate in 2 important events dedicated to the world of work: “Università Aperta IES” at the University of Padua and the “Industrial Engineering Day” in Trento.

On 9th November it will be the turn of “Università Aperta IES” at the University of Padua. Now in its 13th edition, the event, organised by the Career Service of the University of Padua, confirms itself as an important and eagerly awaited meeting point between undergraduates and graduates and the most important Italian companies.  Students of Engineering, Economics and Science courses will be able to get in touch with UFI Filters thanks to quick one-to-one interviews with free access, in order to find out about job opportunities (also through internships or apprenticeships).

The next appointment will be with the University of Trento: on 29th November, the Department of Industrial Engineering will host the ‘Industrial Engineering Day’, an event dedicated to engineering students entering the world of work for the first time. In fact, during the day, it will be possible to introduce oneself to the UFI Filters team and attend important seminars and round tables that will allow young graduates to plan their career.
