UFI Filters on the podium of the British Truck Racing Championship alongside Ryan Smith

It was a season full of adrenaline, passion and extreme performance that of the British Truck Racing Championship 2023 that once again saw UFI Filters-sponsored driver Ryan Smith take the title, for the eighth consecutive time.

Ryan Smith is confirmed as the undisputed champion of the British Heavy Truck Championship, aboard his Daimler 2023 Freightliner Truck. A giant with racing trim customized directly by the driver himself with the help of his team. 5,300 kilograms, 1,400 horsepower with 6,800 Nm of torque and a ZF 16 S 221 manual transmission, which can reach a top speed of 160 km/h and which honoured Ryan’s obvious skills as a driver of these track giants.

It was a pulse-pounding final race weekend at the Brands Hatch circuit that saw our own Ryan Smith dominate once again, winning 3 out of 3 races. A result that allowed the British driver to secure the championship for the eighth time.

The British Truck Racing Championship is one of the most watched competitions in the UK, with vehicles weighing more than five tons and a power output of more than 1,000 hp, and the presence of UFI Filters alongside Ryan Smith confirms the Group’s commitment to the world of heavy trucks, both original equipment and aftermarket parts. UFI Filters’ filtration and thermal management technologies are recognized and chosen by major brands that account for 50% of the world’s truck production. The same quality can be found in the heavy duty parts range, which counts over 500 dedicated references in the aftermarket catalogue for the on-road segment and over 900 for the off-road segment.
