UFI Filters, leader in filtration and the production of heat exchangers for combustion, electric and hybrid vehicles, supports Team Recalvi. the team taking part in the Spanish Super Rally Championship (S-CER) 2022 with Asturian driver José Antonio “Cohete” Suárez who won the title of Champion of Spain both last year and in 2017 and with a respectable palmares in the Iberian rally scene.
Together with co-driver Alberto Iglesias, “Cohete” Suárez, currently the fastest rally driver in Spain, is preparing for the championship which starts next weekend for the Rally Tierras Altas de Lorca.
The partnership between UFI Filters and the Recalvi Team promises to heat up the Spanish rally season with the Suárez-Iglesias duo on board the official Škoda Fabia R5 Evo, in asphalt and dirt version, branded UFI Filters. As per regulation, the Škoda Fabia R5 Evo consists of an improved 1.6 Turbo engine with a new refrigeration system and an electric turbocharger exhaust valve.
