UFI Filters has won the Excellence Award for Sustainability 2019, sponsored by the City of Shanghai (China). In the occasion of the “Innovation and Sustainability” 2019 Corporate Social Responsibility Forum, held on the 15th January in Shanghai, the daily newspaper Shanghai Daily, in collaboration with the Shanghai Association of Foreign Investment and the Shanghai Daily MNC Communication Club, presented UFI with this prestigious award for its contribution to the sustainable development of the city and the creation of value for the community. Together with this important recognition UFI Filters Group received the “Trusted Partners of Shanghai Daily” award, thanks to the steady collaboration with the newspaper in his CSR activities.
Indeed, in this past year, UFI Filters launched a Corporate Social Responsibility campaign in the city of Shanghai, involving pupils from primary, middle and secondary schools in a project designed to promote environmental awareness.
“We are extremely proud to have received these awards and to have taken part in the growth and development of the students of Shanghai, a city in which we have been present since 1996” Group President Giorgio Girondi proudly stated.
