UFI Filters on the most prestigious European tracks thanks to its partnership with British driver Harry King

UFI Filters has announced a partnership with young British driver Harry King, official Porsche GB Junior Driver, for his participation in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland and Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup championships.

At only 22 years old, Harry King has already achieved significant milestones in his sports career, demonstrating himself to be one of the emerging talents of British motorsport by winning the Carrera Cup GB title in 2020, becoming the youngest driver ever to win the championship, and being named Autosport Driver of the Year in 2020

Throughout his career, King has shown to be a driver with great technique, speed, and determination, as well as possessing a great maturity and adaptability to different race situations. This was recognized when he was named Official Porsche GB Junior Driver in 2020.

After making his debut in the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2017 and claiming his first championship title in 2019 in GT4 Series, he had also recently become the Carrera Cup GB Benelux Champion in 2022, with sights firmly set to add another title to that list.

The partnership between UFI Filters and Harry King is based on shared values of integrity, passion, excellence, and the desire to achieve increasingly ambitious goals. UFI Filters has extensive experience in the world of racing, thanks to the High-Tech Division products supplied to 9 out of 10 Formula 1 teams and other championships, such as Indycar, Nascar, Formula 3, FIA Formula 2, and Le Mans FIA WEC (World Endurance Championship).

Harry King’s participation in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland and Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup championships represents a great opportunity for visibility for the UFI brand throughout Europe. The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup is a one-make motorsport championship organized by Porsche AG and is considered one of the most prestigious in the world. The competition takes place on some of the most important European circuits, in conjunction with Formula 1 Grand Prix events, and sees the participation of professional drivers from all over the world. Each round of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup is broadcast live on television worldwide, attracting a wide audience of motorsport enthusiasts.

Both competitions use the latest generation Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars, specifically developed for endurance races.

Karl Ridings, UK & Ireland Sales Director & General Manager UK & Ireland – Aftermarket, comments: “We are proud of the partnership with Harry King, who represents one of the emerging talents of British motorsport. With great technique, speed, and determination, he will have the opportunity to demonstrate his talent. For UFI Filters, it is a great opportunity for visibility both in the UK, where Harry is an emerging star, but also throughout the rest of Europe. Indeed, both championships are among the highest levels of competition in one-make races, offering spectacle, adrenaline and the opportunity to see some of the best professional drivers in the world in action.”

Harry King says: “Having the support of a group like UFI Filters, a group fuelled with extensive motorsport knowledge behind me is an honour and a push to set increasingly ambitious goals.
