UFI Filters Group Opens New Asia-Pacific Headquarters with the Promise of Further Global Expansion

UFI Filters Group, the world-leading filtration system manufacturer, moved their Asia-Pacific Headquarters to a new location on May 16th. The brand-new offices, with a surface of 2,000 square meters, are located in Shanghai West Hongqiao Business District, close to to Panlong Road Station of Shanghai Metro Line 17, a key area of Shanghai international trading hub.

Mr. Rinaldo Facchini, Chief Executive Officer of UFI Filters Group, and Mr. Luca Biagini, Asia-Pacific Chief Operating Officer, inaugurated the new facility through a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking a new chapter in the development of the Company in China and beyond.

The new spaces adopt an open office environment that can accommodate all the core departments such as Sales, Product Management, R&D, Finance and Logistics. At the same time, they will also serve as the Company’s regional Headquarters in the Asia-Pacific region and will provide temporary space and services for visiting colleagues and clients.

Mr. Rinaldo Facchini stated at the opening ceremony: “The establishment of our Asia-Pacific Headquarters in Shanghai is not only a milestone in the development of UFI Group in China, but has also a great significance to UFI Group’s global strategic expansion. Three months ago, our new factory in Sao Paulo, Brazil began operation, today we witness the relocation of our Asia-Pacific Headquarters. In the next 18 months, we will continue to develop and expand with new factories in Poland, India, Mexico and China (Chongqing). We firmly believe that UFI Group is leading the way to a brilliant era.”

Mr. Luca Biagini added: “Shanghai West Hongqiao Business District is a hub that closely connects Jiangsu, Zhejiang and the Yangtze River Delta, and will become one of the iconic regions of Shanghai International Trade Centre in the future. From this new location we can communicate and cooperate more closely with all business partners and provide high-quality products and services for more customers.”
