The renewed agreement builds on several years of collaboration marked by tangible results and an increasing presence in the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship, further strengthening UFI\u2019s position in one of the most competitive motorsport environments dedicated to heavy-duty vehicles.<\/p>\n

Within the European truck racing landscape, John Newell stands out as a highly experienced competitor whose technical expertise and professional approach closely reflect UFI\u2019s core values.<\/p>\n

The partnership has been built on solid foundations and a shared ambition: to bring reliability<\/strong> and performance<\/strong> to the track while creating valuable technical content and visibility for the aftermarket sector.<\/p>\n

In 2026, John Newell will once again take the wheel of Lagertha<\/em><\/strong>, the UFI-branded MAN Chassis<\/strong> racing truck developed in collaboration with Stefan Honens Racing Services. Delivering more than 1,100 horsepower<\/strong> and 5,500 Nm of maximum torque<\/strong>, the truck competes on Europe\u2019s leading circuits, showcasing technology<\/strong>, reliability<\/strong> and extreme performance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship<\/strong> is Europe\u2019s premier truck racing series, combining thrilling competition with technological innovation for the heavy-duty vehicle industry.<\/p>\n

From this year onward, the championship enters a new phase under the direct management of the FIA, further strengthening its governance, growth strategy and international visibility. Sustainability remains a key focus, demonstrated by the use of sustainable fuels to reduce emissions and by initiatives such as the recovery and reuse of racing tyres, which are reconditioned for a second life on the road.<\/p>\n
