Protecting the engine from dirt, rust and corrosion, as well as separating water from the diesel: these are the basic functions of diesel filters. A filter system consisting of a pre-filter<\/strong> and two diesel filters<\/strong> was developed for FORD TRUCKS. The pre-filter<\/strong>, fitted to the 9 and 12.7L engines of Tractor<\/strong>, Construction<\/strong> and Road vehicles<\/strong>, including Tractor Cargo<\/strong> and F-Max<\/strong>, performs a primary filtration function<\/strong>: filter the coarsest particles and separate water from the fuel. The pre-filter media is developed with the unique FormulaUFI.H2O<\/strong>, which allows 95% higher filtration efficiency for particles up to @25 \u00b5m. It is available in the Aftermarket catalogue under UFI code 24.028.00.<\/p>\n

To enable the vehicle to operate optimally for up to 120,000 km, UFI Filters has developed a module consisting of two screw-on diesel filters<\/strong>. It is a dual filtration system with a traditional design: two spin-on filters working in pairs, mounted on a robust housing with resistance to pressures exceeding 20 bar.\u00a0 In the UFI Aftermarket catalogue, the replacement part is available under code 23.572.00<\/strong>, and has a filtering efficiency of >99.5% for particles up to 12\u00b5m.
