[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]UFI Filters is once again hitting the track with the Recalvi Team in the S\u00fapercampeonato de Espa\u00f1a de Rallyes S-CER 2023<\/strong>. Our Iberian distributor’s team will once again be led by Asturian driver Jos\u00e9 Antonio Su\u00e1rez, known as “Cohete”, who won the Spanish Championship in both 2021 and 2017, along with co-pilot Alberto Iglesias.<\/p>\n

For the fifth edition of the Iberian rally, the “Cohete” Su\u00e1rez – Iglesias duo<\/strong> decided to switch to a new vehicle, bidding farewell to the Skoda Fabia R5 Rally EVO and welcoming the new generation, the \u0160koda Fabia RS Rally2<\/strong>, branded by UFI Filters<\/strong>. As per the regulations, the \u0160koda Fabia RS Rally2 features a 1.6 Turbo engine and has been developed based on the 2.0 TSI engine of the EA888 series. Thanks to better aerodynamics, optimised powertrain, electronics, and safety, the Recalvi Team’s drivers are ready to tackle any condition on asphalt and gravel.<\/p>\n

UFI Filters boasts a solid reputation and over 40 years of experience supplying filtration technologies for the racing world, beginning in 1976 in Formula 1 alongside the team that won the world title. This partnership continues to this day, with over 110 filters provided at every Grand Prix for major teams and up to 10,000 parts per year. UFI Filter’s High Tech Division also provides its expertise to teams in other competitions such as Indycar, Nascar, Formula 3, FIA Formula 2<\/strong>, and Le Mans FIA WEC<\/strong>. Driver Jos\u00e9 Antonio Su\u00e1rez<\/strong> states: “I’m very motivated for this upcoming season and can’t wait to hit the track with the new \u0160KODA FABIA RS Rally2, with which we have already done several tests. There will be no shortage of fun and adrenaline, and we are ready to fight for the title.” Meanwhile, his navigator, Alberto Iglesias<\/strong>, says: “We are ready to fight more and better than last year. Since the end of last season, we have never stopped, and the new vehicle is giving us great satisfaction both on the road and on gravel.”<\/p>\n
